A breadboard, also called a protoboard, is used for inventing and prototyping electronics. Breadboards let you connect wires, sensors, microcontrollers and other components without solder. Because it's solderless, it's reusable.
3. LEDs Explained
LEDs are cool! LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. A Diode is a kind of semiconductor. An LED has two leads. This semiconductor light source emits light when activated. You activate an LED by passing a suitable voltage to the leads. Then, the electrons are able to recombine with electron holes in the device, releasing energy in the form of photons. Photons are light.
